Project: design and development of the “Chand Chand” football prediction app

Introduction

“Chand Chand” is an advanced, comprehensive app for predicting football match results, designed and built by the Karzaan software team. Available as both a website and a mobile app, the platform uses accurate statistical data, smart algorithms and professional analysis to provide an engaging, competitive space for football fans.

Chand Chand users submit their predictions for matches in top football leagues and compete with each other in a dynamic scoring system. Combining entertainment, data analysis and social interaction, the app delivers a unique experience to its audience.

Implementation process and key technologies

1. UI/UX design and front end

  • Custom design in Figma: after in-depth research into users’ behavior and needs (fast access to match information, easy prediction entry, live results and leaderboards), Karzaan’s design team designed the user interface in Figma. Every element was designed for visual appeal, speed and a smooth user experience, in line with Chand Chand’s dynamic, exciting identity.
  • Mobile app development with Flutter: the Chand Chand mobile app was built with the Flutter framework to deliver a consistent, smooth, high-performance experience on both Android and iOS. Thanks to Flutter, the app benefits from high speed, smooth animations and advanced features such as real-time notifications and automatic result updates.
  • Website built with HTML, Tailwind CSS and Yii2: the Chand Chand website uses HTML5 and the Tailwind CSS framework for a modern, fully responsive look that works on every device. The Yii2 framework is used in the view layer to generate dynamic pages and manage website content.

2. Back end and service architecture

Powerful web services with Node.js: all services for receiving match data, processing predictions, calculating scores and updating results are implemented with Node.js, chosen for its high performance, excellent scalability and ability to handle many concurrent requests.

Custom admin panel with Yii2: a comprehensive, custom admin panel built with the Yii2 (PHP) framework lets system administrators:

  • Manage matches, leagues and football teams
  • Schedule matches and lock predictions before kick-off
  • Manage users, roles and access levels
  • View analytical reports on user behavior and system performance
  • Manage content across the website (articles, news, guides)

3. Database architecture and data management

MongoDB: because the platform stores large and varied data (team and player information, match history, user predictions, scores, notifications and analytics) and needs high scalability and fast responses, a NoSQL database (MongoDB) was used. This allows flexible management of dynamic data and faster processing of concurrent requests.

4. API-driven architecture and integration

A robust RESTful API layer connects the mobile app (Flutter), the website (HTML, Tailwind, Yii2) and the back end (Node.js and Yii2), enabling secure, fast and simultaneous data exchange. All requests are authenticated with JWT (JSON Web Tokens), and data is synchronized between platforms in real time.
