In online learning systems (LMS), certificate issuance plays a vital role in validating and formalizing the learning process. The system automatically issues a completion certificate to each learner after they successfully finish a course (based on criteria such as final score, class attendance, assignments, payment settlement, etc.). Digital certificates can also be issued, containing details such as the learner’s name, course title, issue date, a verification code and the institution’s electronic signature. To increase security and prevent fraud, certificates are often linked to blockchain technology or issued as NFTs so their authenticity and ownership can be easily traced. Integration with international platforms such as Open Badges also lets learners show their skills on digital résumés (such as LinkedIn). This process not only cuts administrative costs by up to 70%, but also improves the user experience and boosts learner motivation through instant certification.
In online learning systems (LMS), access level management plays a vital role in security, efficiency and meeting stakeholders’ needs. By defining user roles (Role-Based Access Control – RBAC), the system provides dedicated access for each group:
