Project: design and development of the CapilaK Real Estate Fund platform

Introduction

The CapilaK Real Estate Mutual Fund project was designed and built by the Karzaan software team to create a transparent, secure and efficient platform for managing small and large investments in the real estate and gold markets. Operating under the Parseh Development Group, the system takes a modern approach, fully compliant with interest-free Islamic finance principles, and lets the general public take part in real estate and gold investment funds.

Using the latest technologies, the CapilaK platform provides a secure environment for raising capital, managing assets and preserving and growing people’s investments. In partnership with banking systems, the commodity exchange and the industry and mining sectors, it is an effective step toward facilitating transactions and making real estate and gold investment processes more transparent.

Implementation process and key technologies

1. UI/UX design and front end

  • Custom design in Figma: after in-depth research into investors’ needs (clear fund information, easy buying and selling of units, visibility of performance and returns) and management requirements (precise transaction control, advanced reporting), Karzaan’s design team designed the user interface in Figma. Every element was designed for simplicity, transparency and trust, in line with CapilaK’s financial and investment identity.
  • Front-end development with HTML and CSS: the website was built with HTML5 and CSS3, giving it a modern look that is fully responsive and works on every device (mobile, tablet, desktop). CSS optimizations also deliver fast loading and a smooth user experience.

2. Back end and custom admin panel

A powerful back end built with Yii2: all server-side processes, user account management, financial transaction processing, profit calculation and asset management are implemented with the Yii2 (PHP) framework. With its MVC architecture and built-in security features (such as protection against CSRF, XSS and SQL injection), the framework provides a secure, stable and scalable base for handling a high volume of financial transactions.

Custom admin panel: a fully custom admin panel built with Yii2 lets fund managers:

  • Comprehensively manage investors and user accounts
  • Set and adjust the return rates of different funds
  • Manage requests to buy and sell fund units
  • View fund performance in real time and run advanced reports
  • Manage legal documents and investment contracts
  • Fully control settlement processes

3. Database architecture and data management

MongoDB: because the project needs to store large volumes of unstructured data (such as transaction history, diverse investor information, legal documents and analytics data) and requires high scalability and fast responses to complex queries, a NoSQL database (MongoDB) was used. This makes it possible to manage dynamic data flexibly and to process concurrent transactions faster.

4. Security and regulatory compliance

Given the financial nature of the project and the need to meet banking and investment standards, the Karzaan team implemented several layers of security:

  • Encryption of investors’ sensitive financial and identity data.
  • Full compliance with interest-free Islamic finance principles and commodity exchange regulations.
  • Multi-step authentication (OTP) to confirm transactions.
  • A complete, immutable record of every transaction on a blockchain (for transparency and verification).

  • Specialized investment funds: invest in two separate funds, gold and real estate, with professional and transparent management.

  • Legal documentation: all contracts and legal documents are recorded and kept digitally and are easy to access.
